First love
I was 14 when I first discovered the world of limited-edition sneakers. I saw my favourite artists wearing special shoes that instantly caught my attention.
That's when the research began, and I realised that back then there was practically no store in Hungary where you could buy these models in person. For me, it was a disappointment and a motivation at the same time.

The business begins
“I sold my older pairs so I could use the money to buy new ones.”
At first, collecting sneakers was just a hobby. But keeping that hobby going took serious money, so I started selling my older pairs. Along the way, I found new sources, new opportunities opened up, and using different methods I managed to get my hands on more and more products.
That's when I came up with the idea of building a professional platform where you could buy special sneakers reliably in Hungary too – because back then, there wasn't one.
In the first half of 2021, I started building the webshop, organising the products and writing unique descriptions. I spent months working on every detail until the OnSize webshop finally went live.
The store
The response to the webshop blew past all my expectations. In no time I had loads of returning customers, and more and more people were asking where they could see or pick up the products in person.
Since I'd put customers' needs first from day one, I started looking for a location for the first store. I wanted a place that reflected what OnSize stands for and was easy to reach for Hungarian and international customers alike.
Finally, on 15 July 2023, we opened our first physical store in one of Budapest's best-known areas, on Andrássy út.
The opening was an unforgettable moment for us, and it was then that we truly saw how strong a community had grown around OnSize. The growth showed in the stockroom too: soon we were using every square centimetre, with boxes lined up even on the stairs.
In December 2025, we hit another major milestone: OnSize moved into a store three times bigger, at Andrássy út 41.
This made OnSize Hungary's largest sneaker store.
We outgrew our warehouse
Online orders grew so fast that our previous warehouse turned out to be too small as well. So in 2026, we moved into a hall of almost 600 m², which is where we now fulfil all online orders.
More space means more stock, smoother packing and even faster delivery: we can deliver in-stock items in as little as 48 hours.
